Comments: well... On Sunday morning I had the feeling of Patriotism in my bones especially with a bent rod in my hands. The top of the out produced a consistent bite of bass in the east cut. The fish were on for about an hour and a half. I culled up 7 bass and dropped 2 more on the 8 footer. Bluefish were in the mix but with hardly any regularity. I feel the run is going to start up soon!!!!! Get ready boys!!!! Put the rods on the truck and the waders in the back. Head to the beaches!!! Look for the mullet to be running out soon. They were in the back of the inlet as of 9/13/05. later guys.
