Caumsett State Historic Park (North Shore) West Neck Road, Lloyd Neck, 631-423-1770
Direction: Take Route 110 (North, 7.0 miles from LIE Exit 49N) to the Route 25A (West, 0.41 miles, three traffic lights), to West Neck Road (North, 5.1 miles) to park.
(#1) Welcome sign at the entrance to the Caumsett Park.

(#4) Beginning of the Fisherman Rd. - access by fishing permit only. (#5) After two miles of unpaved road you will see great fishing spot. (#6) Fisherman's parking area. (#7) cost $30.00 (2003), sales from January 2, at: Long Island State Park Headquarters Permit Department at West Babylon, call 631-321-3515 If you don't have fishing permit, take a bike ride. (#8) East view from fisherman's parking area. (#9) West view from fisherman's parking area (low tide). (#10) Saltwater marsh area. (#11) East view from eroding cliffs. (#12) West view of park's beach from small jetty at the east side of the park. (#13) Rocky beach at east side (low tide). (#14) Small jetty at the east location. (#15) East view from at the east end of the park's beach. (#16) Caumsett Park - perfect spot for bikers and fisherman.
