Caumsett State Historic Park (North Shore)

West Neck Road, Lloyd Neck, 631-423-1770

Direction: Take Route 110 (North, 7.0 miles from LIE Exit 49N)

to the Route 25A (West, 0.41 miles, three traffic lights),

to West Neck Road (North, 5.1 miles) to park.

(#1) Welcome sign at the entrance to the Caumsett Park.

(#3) Entry gate (fee booth) to the park parking.

(#4) Beginning of the Fisherman Rd. - access by fishing permit only.

(#5) After two miles of unpaved road you will see great fishing spot.

(#6) Fisherman's parking area.

(#7) Permit cost $30.00 (2003), sales from January 2, limited to first 500 fisherman.

Permit is sold out for 2003. If you don't have fishing permit, take a bike ride.
